AAA Members,

The future is now for AAA and our almost 900,000 members in Western and Central New York. As we welcome in the new year, I am delighted to announce that AAA has launched several very important new products and services for our members this year, included AAA-branded automobile and homeowners’ insurance, a special GPS unit equipped with AAA TourBook information and enhanced travel services and vacation options. Of course, AAA will continue to provide outstanding service through all three of our distribution channels: in our Travel and Insurance Centers, through our telephone call centers, and online at AAA. com. We are committed to serving our members in whatever way you prefer. Our staff is expert in all of our new products and services, so we invite you to call, click or visit whenever the need arises.

AAA Members Insurance Agency Inc

On Dec. 15, 2006, AAA Western and Central New York introduced AAA Members Insurance Agency Inc, which allows our members access to high quality and affordable AAA-branded automobile and homeowners’ insurance for the first time ever. AAA Members Insurance offers a wide variety of options that can be designed to the specific needs of each AAA member, and it is already available at six of our Travel and Insurance Centers (Amherst, Buffalo, Orchard Park, Penfield, Greece and Pittsford).

Global Positioning Systems

In November 2006, AAA began selling special AAA Edition GPS units in our Travel and Insurance Centers. As you probably know, GPS units provide real-time driving directions and mapping information where you need them the most—in your car. The Magellan Roadmate AAA Edition is designed specifically for AAA members and is loaded with exclusive features, including an electronic version of AAA’s famous TourBooks, and access to AAA-rated restaurants and hotels across the country. In addition to offering the GPS units for sale, we hope to be able to offer them on a rental basis in Spring 2007.

Enhanced Travel Services

AAA has added two new Travel and Insurance Centers in Ithaca and Cortland through our recent acquisition of Stone Travel. In addition to its strength in the leisure travel market, Stone Travel is also a leader in the business travel industry, which we plan to expand to other AAA areas in 2007, to help local businesses better manage their business travel costs.

We are also placing a renewed focus on developing exclusive tour and cruise products for our members. AAA’s travel team is hard at work to provide our members with select benefits and opportunities, which are not available through any other travel agencies or web sites, and we constantly strive to provide you with the best product offerings at the best prices. Several examples of trips that have been uniquely designed for our members include our Venezuela Rainforest Adventure, hosted by Donna Fernandes of the Buffalo Zoo, in January 2007, and our President’s Journey to India, which will take place in November 2007.
