"I’ve been fascinated by gators since I was a kid. So on our first trip to Florida, I had to visit—where else? Gatorland, of course. Read about my first Gatorland experience in Editor’s Notes."

"Like Peter Pan, I’m the boy who never grew up...so naturally, my family and I regularly visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom. It’s quite a thrill experiencing old favorites through the eyes of my children. Classics like Snow White and, well, Peter Pan, are brand new to my daughter, while familiar coasters, such as Space Mountain and Big Thunder, are “the best rides ever” to my son. We can’t get enough."

"I’m all about theme park thrill rides. Drop me like a rock (Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios), or rock me while I drop (Universal Studios’ Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit). Make me dizzy (Montu at Busch Gardens), or make me laugh (The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios). My favorite? That would be G-Force Trainer at the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, which ramps you up to four times the force of gravity. Now THAT’S a thrill!"

"Universal’s Islands of Adventure all the way! The Incredible Hulk Coaster—the green machine—and I have gone to battle throughout the years. The slingshot maneuver never gets old! Doctor Doom’s Fearfall ride—I have a love-hate relationship with Dr. Doom and his fall. I’m all talk until I’m strapped in. And as always, I am the only “adult” to don the customary face paint. But the souvenir photos are worth it—regardless of the stares and looming water rides."

"My favorite Florida getaway is perusing through the quaint antique shops in Mount Dora. There’s nothing like the thrill of the hunt, especially when I find that special piece of Limoges china to add to my collection. Afterwards, I always stop by the Windsor Tea Room for a cup of English tea as I stroll through the charming tree-lined downtown streets searching for more treasures."
